Kiann is an Italian-Persian composer, pianist and music producer, celebrated for his evocative blend of neoclassical and contemporary crossover music. With a unique artistic vision and a refined sense of musicality, he crafts compositions that transcend traditional genre boundaries and resonate with emotional depth and elegance.
Born in Tehran in 1981, Kiann embarked on his musical journey at an early age, demonstrating remarkable creativity. By the age of nine, he had already composed his first original piece—an early indication of the talent that would shape his future. Now based in Vienna, Austria—a city long associated with classical music heritage—Kiann continues to refine his artistry in an environment rich with cultural history and artistic inspiration.
Since the inception of his solo career in 2014, Kiann has cultivated a distinctive sonic identity that seamlessly fuses the structure and poise of neoclassicism with the experimental spirit of modern soundscapes. His work has garnered widespread recognition, not only among international audiences but also within the broadcast and media. His compositions have been featured in a variety of television productions, most notably by Austria’s national public broadcaster, ORF. Additionally, his music enjoys regular airplay on acclaimed stations such as Radio Klassik and Lounge FM, attesting to its broad appeal and artistic integrity.
As a performer, Kiann has hit stages across Europe and beyond, captivating audiences at prominent cultural venues and festivals. These include Milan Music Week, the prestigious Cairo Opera House, the immersive Theatre of Digital Art in Dubai, and the Bellapais International Music Festival in Cyprus. His international concert appearances have taken him to numerous countries, including Turkey, Italy, Austria, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
Kiann is currently signed to INRI Classic, a label under the esteemed Universal Music Italy, with his works licensed in Austria through ORF Enterprise.
